The Parisians really love their scarves tied around their necks.  There are scarves, or foulards or every shape, every length and every color imaginable.

It's interesting how many ways there are to tie on a scarf!

This gal has wrapped the scarf around her neck and tucked the ends inside her coat.

This father daughter duo have the ends of their purple scarves hanging loose.

This girl has a kind of criss-cross thing going on with her scarf.

Mais, oui,  there are orange foulards!

Foulards at the bus stop!

You don't have a scarf to coordinate with your outfit??  Pas de probleme.  This little boutique on the Ile de St. Louis has your problem solved with scarves in every hue of the rainbow.

Pardon, Monsieur, where is your scarf?  Did you not get the memo?  People in Paris must wear their scarves every month of the year, except August, of course.
