We dressed up a bit for dinner at Le Tastevin on the Ile Saint Louis, a Rick Steve's restaurant suggestion.
A great suggestion, Rick! The setting was lovely.
The salad course--
with a little red wine....
For the main course the birthday girl had grilled lamb, the birthday daughter had sea bass and the birthday Papa had roast boeuf bourguigon...
And for dessert.....drum roll inserted here.... an apple tart with marvelous caramel sauce and a touch of cinnamon ice cream! OOO la la!
A birthday dinner to remember, bien sur!!!!
Jack caught this marvelous picture of the gargoyles of Notre Dame as we walked "home" after dinner.
A perfect evening to remember. I am so thankful for so many blessings, this evening being just one of them.
